Who am i?

Since my childhood, I have been walking around with a camera: recording and capturing the moments of our family trips and gatherings. My passion for photography increased during elementary school when I attended a weekly art class. It was there that I stumbled upon the possibility of studying Photography.

For three years studying in Breda, I delved into the art of storytelling through the lens, crafting my unique visual narrative. I discovered more about digital and analogue photography. The question “Who am I” is one I keep on asking myself and I’ve found photography to be a medium in which I can express myself. It is a powerful tool through which I attempt to unravel my own identity and place myself within the broader context of the world. Thereby, my photographic journey goes beyond visual documentation; it’s an exploration of self-discovery. I strive to show what I notice, what I hold dear, where I find beauty and other themes I am passionate about. I see it as an ongoing project, a way of visualising what I believe deserves more attention, which I share here with you.
